1. Introduction
Welcome to Front Range Home Inspectors. By scheduling or participating in a home inspection with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline the rights, responsibilities, and expectations for both parties.
2. Scope of Inspection
Front Range Home Inspectors will perform a visual inspection of the property as outlined in the inspection report. The inspection is limited to the accessible systems and components of the home, including but not limited to the structure, exterior, roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, interior, insulation, and ventilation.
3. Limitations of Inspection
- The inspection is not technically exhaustive and does not imply warranty, guarantee, or insurance on the condition of the property.
- The inspection does not include concealed or inaccessible areas, nor does it cover areas beyond the inspector’s expertise or those requiring specialized equipment or expertise.
- Front Range Home Inspectors do not test for environmental hazards, including but not limited to mold, radon, asbestos, lead, or water quality unless specifically stated and contracted as additional services.
4. Inspection Report
- The inspection report will be delivered within 24 hours of the inspection date unless otherwise agreed upon.
- The report is a reflection of the property’s condition at the time of the inspection and does not predict future conditions, failures, or lifespan of systems.
5. Client Responsibilities
- The client is responsible for ensuring that all areas to be inspected are accessible, including the provision of access codes, keys, or other means of entry.
- The client agrees to read the full inspection report and understand the limitations and exclusions of the inspection.
6. Fees and Payment
- Fees for the inspection service are due upon completion of the inspection unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Any additional services requested by the client will incur extra fees, which will be disclosed and agreed upon before the service is rendered.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled inspection time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Front Range Home Inspectors’ liability for any and all claims related to the inspection is limited to the fee paid for the inspection.
- The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Front Range Home Inspectors from any claims, actions, or damages, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
9. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, the client agrees to notify Front Range Home Inspectors in writing, email, or phone call within 10 days of discovering the issue. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through negotiation or mediation before pursuing legal action.
- Any legal action must be initiated within 30 days of the inspection date.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Colorado, whish is where the inspection is performed. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of that state.
11. Amendments
Front Range Home Inspectors reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services will be considered acceptance of the new terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling an inspection with Front Range Home Inspectors, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
